Individuals eligible for participation in this program are paid an hourly
wage for work completed in authorized VA-related activities.
The applicant must:
- receive VA Educational
Benefits as authorized under Title 38, U.S.C., Chapters 30/34, 31,
32, or
35 or Chapter 1606 & 1607 of Title 10, U.S.C.
- attend school and be certified to VA as 3/4 time or more
the terms you are working
- complete VA Form 20-8691, Application for Work-Study Allowance
- be selected for the program by one of the authorized sites
- additional VA forms and documents may be required
Authorized Sites include, but are not limited to:
- VA Regional Offices
- VA Hospitals & Medical Centers
- VA Outpatient Clinics
- VA Cemeteries
- Veterans' Centers
- Office of Veterans Affairs, Main Campus and Ft.
Campbell Center
- Tennessee Employment Offices
- Ft. Campbell Army Career and Alumni Program (ACAP)

To apply for the program within our office:
Stop by and inquire about the necessary forms. If interested in a position
at the Main Campus, go to Office of Student Financial Aid and Veterans
Affairs, Ellington Student Services Bldg., Room 216. If interested in a
position at Fort Campbell, see Astrid Blandon at the
SSG Glenn H. English, Jr., Army Education Center, Room 137. As openings
come available, we will look at any applications for that position and interview qualified
candidates. We will make our selection from the interviewed candidates.
Qualifications we seek include, but are not limited to, the following: computer
literacy, organizational skills, familiarity with programs, and pleasant attitude.
Positions Currently Available:
There are currently no positions open at either the Main Campus or the Fort Campbell
Center. However, if you would like to submit an application, we will keep it on
file for a year. When a position does open, we will review all applications
currently on file.
