Dr. John H. Parker of Lipscomb University has published ABIDE WITH ME: A PHOTOGRAPHIC JOURNEY THROUGH GREAT BRITISH HYMNS (New Leaf Publishing Group, 2009), now in its second printing. Co-author is Dr. Paul Seawright, chair of the school of photography at the University of Ulster and celebrated Irish photographer with exhibits in Europe and the United States. The coffee-table giftbook features text and photographs on the sites of twenty-four of the classic British hymns, including "Amazing Grace", "Rock of Ages", and "Abide with Me". Since a few nominations have gone unfulfilled for ten years or more, the Executive Committee is considering removing those names and absorbing what funds have been collected into the general account. If you have nominated potential fellows in this condition, please campaign to complete funding before the next annual meeting. when a decision about the disposition of these accounts will be made.
