Telephone Services Information For Students

Telephone Service:  Other than Emerald Hill apartments, telephone lines are no longer supplied in individual residence hall rooms.  Courtesy phones in various locations are supplied and supported by Telephone Services.  If there is a problem with any telephone in a residence hall, please report the problem to Telephone Services at x6191.

Long Distance:  Long distance service is available to students by use of a forced account code.  You may request a code at the Telephone Services office (Browning 133).  All calls in the continental United States are billed at the rate of $.07/minute plus tax.  The approximate cost with tax is $.08/minute.  This service is available from all campus telephones.  You will be billed monthly for your long distance calls.  Dialing instructions page.
