Emergency Notification:

Telephones in classrooms and labs:  As part of the campus emergency notification initiative, Telephone Services has installed digital telephones in most classrooms and laboratories.

Campus Emergency:  In case of a campus emergency, these telephones can be paged from a central location with information on the emergency and the procedure to be followed. 

Dialing Out:  These telephones will be allowed to dial campus numbers and 911 only.  This means that there will be a telephone at the ready for a classroom or lab emergency, and also that there will be a telephone available to quickly report equipment malfunctions to the IT Help Desk.
