Study Abroad Program at APSU - Spain
  The Study of Spanish in Madrid 
                 

Academic Program
  
The four-week program is under the auspices of Estudio Internacional Sampere (E.I.S.). Spanish language classes are offered at all levels from beginning through advanced. Graduate courses are also offered. All instructors are native speakers. Estudio Sampere offers a unique group of courses in translation, interpreting, bilingual correspondence, Spanish for Executives and Bilingual Secretarial Studies for very advanced students. Arrangements for guitar, flamenco dancing, or cooking lessons may be made for an extra fee. An average of 30 hours of classes and activities are scheduled each week, with classes usually meeting in the afternoon for five hours, five days a week. Students also may concentrate on particular aspects of Spanish civilization or literature through independent study. Classes average from five to eight students per class.
