Cooperative Center for Study Abroad (CCSA)

The Cooperative Center for Study Abroad (CCSA) is a higher education inter-institutional effort providing joint planning, coordination, and implementation for programs of study in many countries around the world. The CCSA sponsors:

  1. A short-term program of study in late December and early January during the interim between the Fall and Spring semesters to London, Australia, and other countries.

  2. A variety of summer terms to countries such as England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, Belize, Ghana, Jamaica, etc.

  3. Fall or spring semester at the University of East Anglia in England.

  4. Internships at appropriate times during the year.

Courses are taught by faculty from CCSA member institutions including APSU faculty. Students earn credit on their home campuses that apply to their degree programs. The CCSA Coordinator for APSU, in cooperation with the Chair of the appropriate department, identifies comparable APSU credit for CCSA courses.
