Family Weekend 2024

Family Weekend gives you the chance to experience Austin Peay and get a feel for what it’s like to be a Governor. You can expect a fun filled weekend with activities for the whole family!

Our tentative schedule kicks off Friday, September 20th with Food Truck Friday and opportunities to sit in on lectures similar to those your students attend! Stop by the Morgan University Center Plaza for music, tours, games, food and more! Saturday morning will kick off with brunch and more fun before our Saturday Football game. Saturday afternoon your family is invited to the Gov Walk where we cheer on our Football team as they prepare to take on the Alabama A&M. After the Gov Walk, our tailgate kicks off with a live band, food and yard games in Tailgate Alley. We hope you will also purchase a ticket to cheer on the Govs football team to experience firsthand what it means to call Austin Peay State University YOUR university. Events don't end there.. check back May 1 for a full schedule and to reserve your spot.
