Safe Zone extends the physical safe space for LGBTQI students and their allies throughout the campus. This program also creates ongoing educational experiences between Safe Zone members and the Austin Peay community, encouraging students, faculty, and staff to explore cultural identities, values, and stereotypes in order to better understand how these issues impact the greater community.
