Rising Star Organization

This award is presented to the registered student organization that has distinguished itself during the first year of existence on campus OR a  registered organization that has shown remarkable improvement over the past year.

Selection Criteria

  • Shows great potential for future contributions to campus life
  • Registered with the Office of Student Life and Leadership
  • Has clear sense of mission and goals for the organization
  • Adviser has been involved in the organization's planning and activities
  • Effectively planned and implemented beneficial activities for the campus community
  • Offers its members the opportunity to develop leadership roles and make a contribution to student life
  • Has distinguished themselves during their first year of existence on campus

  • Registered organization has shown remarkable improvement over the past year and can provide evidence of improvement.
