The APSU S.O.S. Campus Food Pantry, the first of its kind in the state of TN, opens on Feb.1. The campus food pantry’s goal is to help fight food insecurities for those students who are in crisis. The innovative collaboration of the social work department and student affairs has brought about state wide attention & a popular topic for APSU to present upon at conferences. Jasin Wills, Coordinator for Adventure and Aquatics, was initiated as a member of Kappa Alpha order in November 2011 and currently serves as the faculty advisor.
Daisy Torres, Coordinator for the Hispanic Cultural Center was recently featured on Nashville's News Channel 5 "Que Passa" discussing and sharing about the Hispanic Cultural Center. See the video here.
Brianna Lombardozzi, Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs and Victor Felts, Director of Student Life and Leadership, were both recognized at the Regional Meeting for the Association for Fraternity and Sorority Affairs (AFA) this past Friday, December 2nd for their continued membership in AFA. Brianna has been a member for the past 5 years and Victor has been a member ore the past 20 years. The regional meeting of AFA Annual Meeting was part of AFA’s Annual Meeting which took place in St. Louis. Victor Felts was the only that hit the 20 year mark.
