Outstanding Adult Student Leader Award

This award is presented to a student who is age 24 years of age or older and who has juggled significant life responsibilities while maintaining a good academic record and being involved in the APSU campus community. This student will be a leader among other adult students. Nominee may also be under age 24 with non-traditional responsibilities such as independent and a parent.

Selection Criteria

Must possess a good academic record
Must be classified as a sophomore or above, preferance to juniors and seniors
Must exhibit strong sense of school pride and spirit
Must demonstrate significant life responsibilities along with academic and leadership involvement
Must demonstrate involvement and contribution to campus life and/or community activities
May not be compensated for the award criteria listed, such as grad assistants, scholarship or work study for work, or any other appointment, involvement may not be as part of a job or paid scholarship for a position or duty, etc.
