Andrew "Drew" Simmons Intramural Leader Award

The Andrew L. Simmons Intramural Leader Award, established in 2003, is presented to the top male and female intramural/recreation student leader with a proven record of exemplary leadership in intramural sports.

Selection Criteria

  • Must maintain good academic record
  • Must be classified at least junior or senior student; preference for senior candidates
  • Must exhibit strong sense of school pride and spirit
  • Must serve as role model for other intramural participants
  • Must exhibit positive team spirit and exemplary sprtsmanship
  • Must have outstanding record of leadership in intramural sports
  • Is not a student employee, and is not otherwise compensated for role in intramural participation
