Exemplary Faculty Member of the Year

This award is presented to a full-time faculty member who consistently promotes the success of students, exhibits outstanding character attributes, and serves as an exceptional mentor and adviser to students. This award is selected by students and presented to a faculty member for their contribution above and beyond the call of duty.

Selection Criteria

Presented to a full-time faculty member
Nomination must be by a student or students
Consistently sets an example for other faculty in both their teaching and their assistance to students
Displays strong sense of school pride and spirit
Displays compassion in meeting students' needs in a behind the scenes sort of way
Nominee must have been a full-time faculty member at Austin Peay for a minimum of two years
Must have demonstrated dedication, commitment, enthusiasm and service to students above and beyond the call of duty
