Athlete Leader of the Year Award

This award is presented to one male and one female varsity athlete who has demonstrated a successful balance between academic achievement, student organization or Greek involvement and intercollegiate athletic participation. Other considerations include number of years participated, any national or local awards, and records set.

Selection Criteria

Must maintain good academic standards
Must be junior level or above, preference to graduating seniors
Must exhibit strong sense of school pride and spirit
Must have proven overall leadership ability (beyond athletics)
Must make significant contribution to campus life
Must be positive role model
