Student Organization Adviser of the Year

This award is presented to a volunteer campus student organization adviser who has gone above and beyond for the organization they advise.

Selection Criteria

  • Must actively advise the organization and have been the registered student organization's volunteer adviser for at least one year
  • Must exhibit pride in their organization and campus
  • Must be a full-time faculty or staff member at Austin Peay
  • Organization advised must be registered with the office of Student Life and Leadership
  • Must have been available to the members of the organization, and open to new ideas and value student input
  • Must have shown dedication to and interest in the organization
  • Adviser role must be voluntary, not a part of a job description
  • Preference given to nominees not recognized in the past two years
