Bill Dupes Locker Room

Bill Dupes was a coach at Millsaps College before coming to Austin Peay State College to rebuild the football program.  He had a winning season in 1964, which garnered him Coach of the Year honors in the Ohio Valley Conference.

A Group of Coach Dupes’ former players led in the drive for raising the funds to name the Governors Locker Room in honor of Coach Bill Dupes.  The Dupes Family was on hand for the Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the opening game of the stadium on September 13, 2014 verses UT Chattanooga.  We still have lockers available to name at $4,000.00 per locker.  We have currently have named 55 lockers through the process of the campaign.  Thank you to all who have made this possibility a reality.  Any other funds raised from the sale of the remaining lockers will benefit the completion of the Stadium.
