For nearly seven decades, Fortera Stadium has served as the home of the Austin Peay State University football team. It also is home to the Lady Govs track and field program.
Just as important, it is a campus treasure that has allowed countless numbers of Govs fans and players to celebrate victories and triumph over losses.
On Sept. 13, 2014, APSU officially opened newly renovated Fortera Stadium. Thousands of eager fans packed into the new $19 million facility that day for the season’s first home football game against the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
The newly renovated home side of the stadium has four levels which include 13 Skybox Suites on the top level. The thirdlevel has a 386 seat Club Level, which includes an open area inside with approximately 8,000 square feet of space for game day use. This level is also available as a meeting and entertainment venue for the community. The second level of the stadium provides a snapshot into the history of Austin Peay Governors Football. The second level is the primary entry level to the stadium and also houses our concessions area, as well as a game day souvenir store for our fans. The ground floor includes The Coach Bill Dupes Locker Room, a team meeting room, a game day training room and ticket office.
