History Scholarships

The Fred Seip, Jr. Memorial Scholarship in History. 
This endowed scholarship, established in 1992, provides a $500 annual award to a junior or senior with a declared major in history. Selection will be based on need and will be made by the General Scholarship Committee from recommendations by the chair of the History Department. An annual minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and continuing progress toward a degree in history are required for renewal. The Preston Hubbard Scholarship in History. 
This scholarship, established in 2003, provides a $500 annual award to a sophomore with a declared major in history, at least 12 SH in history with a 3.5 GPA in history and an overall 3.0 GPA. For further information contact the History Department, APSU Box 4486, , telephone (931) 221-7919.
