- Unit Statement of Purpose
The primary mission of the University Advancement/Alumni Office at Austin Peay State University is to set the pace by promoting, advancing, communicating, and enhancing the overall mission of the institution. We are here to connect and build bridges with our internal and external constituents. This is accomplished through the offices of Alumni and Annual Giving, University Advancement, and Athletic Marketing and Promotions. Dedicated team members manage friend-raising and fund-raising activities to enhance the University.
The Advancement/Alumni Division supports programs and events as well as fund-raising efforts for academics and athletics. The Division is responsible for receiving, receipting, and acknowledging gifts to the University and the APSU Foundation. Austin Peay State University is making a difference for our region, and we feel that the personal touch that our Division offers is a major part of helping make the difference.
