Budget Committee Application
Purpose and Composition of the GOC Budget
Committee
The role of GOC Budget Committee is to
review the use of the GOC Committee funds for consistency with the
established principles, guidelines and practices, and
to allocate these available funds based on these
principles and guidelines. The GOC Budget Committee
will consist of seven students chosen from an application process,
one position is filled by the GOC Treasurer who acts
as the chair for the committee. In
addition, the adviser to the committee is ex-officio.
GOC Budget Allocation meetings
are open to the general University community.
Qualifications
of Committee Members
Student committee members must have:
a
minimum 2.5 GPA
earned
a minimum of 24 credit hours at APSU
no
formal disciplinary record
a
proven record of campus involvement and leadership
experience.
The
Committee will meet the last Monday of every month
during the academic year at 3:40 p.m. when
funding applications are received. Committee members
may not accrue more than two unexcused absences per
semester. The GOC Budget Committee members will be selected by an
independent committee.
