Scholarship
Requirements
1.
The
applicant must be an ACS student affiliate who has shown leadership in and
commitment to the APSU chemistry club.
2.
The
applicant must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
3.
The
applicant must be a junior, having completed General Chemistry and Organic
Chemistry at a minimum, and be a Chemistry major.
4.
The
applications will be reviewed by the XEM officers with the final decision by
the sponsors.
5.
Financial
need will not be considered.
6.
Applications
are due by April 4 of the spring semester.
Applicants will be notified of the decision prior to April 25.
7.
The
scholarship will be $200.
8.
The
completed applications should be sent to XEM, P.O. Box 4547.
9.
A
student may only receive this award once.
