Registration

Students are responsible for the schedule of courses for which they register unless they officially change it. To make an official change in schedules the students must use AP SELF SERVICE or submit forms required and file them within the required time for adding or dropping a course as stated in the University Calendar in the SCHEDULE OF CLASSES publication.

Registration is divided into three phases:
Priority Registration - open to currently enrolled students.
Open Registration - open to new and readmitted students.
Late Registration - open to all students eligible to enroll for a given term.

Undergraduates Registering in Graduate Courses

Undergraduates interested in registering in graduate courses must have prior approval of the Dean of Graduate Studies and meet minimum requirements as listed in the GRADUATE BULLETIN.

Holds on Registration

Holds may be placed on a student's registration in order to satisfy an obligation owed to the University. Holds are communicated to the student via AP Self Service. The most frequent holds are for debts owed the University, such as unpaid parking ticket, library fines, or for an academic deficiency which mush be removed before a student may enroll. While a student has a registration hold, they will be prevented from registering for courses, requesting transcripts, and/or graduating.
