Junior Govs Summer Camp

Introduction

This recreational based day camp is a comprehensive program which promotes health lifestyles among children, ages 5 to 14, so they will continue to stay active. Each session, the children spend 10 action-packed days filled with sports activities, games, arts and crafts, swimming and weekly field trips dedicated to the session's particular theme. The camp is hosted at the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center located on the corner of Marion and Drane Streets. Camp programming runs from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. with early drop off starting at 7 a.m. and late pick up running through 5:30 p.m.

Camp Sessions

Junior Govs Summer Camp starts with a one-week Pre-Session, and then is organized into two-week sessions, each with a different educational theme.

Sessions in 2012

This summer, Junior Govs will be celebrating the 2012 Summer Olympics being held in London this August! We will be gearing up by experiencing what it means to have the "Olympic spirit" and how we can carry that with us in all that we do. Get ready for a fun filled summer of Summer Olympic-themed games, crafts, sports, field trips, and more!
