Junior Govs Summer Camp This
recreational based day camp is a comprehensive program which
promotes health lifestyles among children, ages 6 to 12, so they
will continue to stay active. Each session, the children spend
10 action-packed days filled with sports activities, games, arts
and crafts, swimming and weekly field trips dedicated to the
session's particular theme. The camp is hosted at the new Foy
Fitness and Recreation Center located on the corner of Marion
and Drane Streets. Camp programming runs from 8 a.m. to 3:45
p.m. with early drop off starting at 7a.m. and late pick up
running through 5:30 p.m.

We Are All Different
Campers will learn about the diversity in our
community as well as the diversity of every
individual
Session I June 2-13
Our Community Leaders
Campers will learn about
the leaders of our community and their roles.
Session II June 16-27
Scientific Summer
Campers will explore how science not only
affects our everyday life, but fun ways to
experience it!
June 30-July 4
No Camp
Session III July 7-18
Be Healthy and Be Well
Campers will be introduced to fun ways to stay
healthy and active.
Session IV July 21- Aug. 1
Creatures of the Wild
Camp will conclude with a
session about animals that can be found around
the world. The camp talent show will also take
place in this session.

Swim Lessons:
There is
an opportunity for
each camper to participate in swim lessons for an additional
fee of $30 for one week of lessons. Note that placing your
child in a higher swim level than appropriate is not
beneficial to the child's advancement in swimming.

Introduction
to Water Skills:
helps students feel
comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water
Level 2
Fundamental
Aquatic Skills:
gives students success with
fundamental skills
Level 3
Stroke
Development:
builds on the skills in level 2
by providing additional guided practice
Camper Enrollment:

required for each camper.
