Breast Cancer Awareness 5k

A partnership with the Wilber N. Daniel African American Cultural Center and APSU Athletics, the goal of this event is to raise awareness about breast cancer. Race fees include entry to the basketball games that evening, with proceeds supporting the Kay Yow Fund.

The route begins on the front steps of the Dunn Center and finishes along side of the same building, winding around campus for a total of 5k (3.1 miles). Water is provided at the half-way point.

This year in the Play4Kay game, the APSU women take on Morehead State at 5:15 p.m. The men's game follows. Wear pink to the game to show your support for breast cancer awareness and the Lady Govs!

Water bottles are guaranteed to the first 100 student/faculty/staff registrants, and t-shirts are available at the game to APSU students with a valid student ID.
