mathematics for students following the 2004-5 catalog or later. |
| Math 1410 does not fulfill the general education core

Prerequisites
The prerequisite for Math 1410 is two years of high school mathematics.
The prerequisite for Math 1420 is Math 1410.

Course Descriptions
Math 1410: Problem solving, the system of rational numbers,
logic, sets, functions, algebra, and number theory.
Math 1420: Problem solving, proportionality, the real number
system, probability, data analysis, geometric concepts and measurement.
