Nuclear Medicine
  In cooperation with Vanderbilt University, Austin Peay State University offers a 12-month training program in clinical nuclear medicine technology. Students complete the first three years study at APSU and, upon acceptance to the program, complete the fourth year of their Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology through Vanderbilt University. Graduates of the program receive a certificate from the Division of Allied Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and are eligible to take the national certification exam.

ADMISSION
Based on scholastic background, personal evaluations and motivation; grade-point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is recommended, but averages above 2.5 will be considered; students from APSU and Belmont receive first preference.

PROGRAM LENGTH
12-month training program

APPLICATION

TUITION
Vanderbilt’s program tuition is $1,500. Additionally, students must be enrolled at APSU.

CONTINUED EDUCATION
APSU offers a Master of Science in Biology with a Radiologic Technology concentration.
