Why study Economics

Economics prepares students to be economic and financial analysts, interpreting data using modern economic theory.

Students will learn to examine markets critically, identify trends and pricing scales, and forecast outcomes. Graduates can work as economists, data analysts, actuaries, market research analysts, or Federal Reserve System employees, among other career opportunities.
