The School of Nursing offers a Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner certificate. This program is designed for individuals who have already earned a MSN degree and who have a desire to provide comprehensive health care services, in a primary care setting, to patients across the lifespan. The didactic content is all online. Primary care clinical hours are a requirement. Clinical hours are arranged by populations which include: Adult/Geriatric, Pediatrics, Women’s health, and a general clinical practicum. Students completing the certificate program are eligible to sit for the AANP or ANCC FNP certification examination. The program is flexible to meet the needs of practicing nurses.
