The Office of Public Relations and Marketing has professional photography capabilities. The primary purpose of photography is to create professional, creative images for projects and news items produced by the department. Examples of project or news photography produced in house are recruitment publications, advertising and marketing efforts, news and major events and philanthropy efforts.
We also offer photography as a campus service and will try to accommodate photography requests when possible. We do ask that the request be relative to the mission and advancement of the University. Any requests that are not part of the mission and goals of the University will not be considered. Such requests should be made at least 7-10 days in advance.
The Public Relations and Marketing Office maintains a database of images for use upon request by the University community, outside agencies and the media.
All photographs including assignment images, produced by the APSU Public Relations and Marketing Office are the property of Austin Peay State University and are protected under federal copyright law. The photographs are archived within the University database and may be used as stock images upon request.
Charges for photographic services:
Studio or location shoot/event: $60 per hour (1 hour min.)
Single Studio Portrait – $25 -includes one edited digital file
Studio Portraits per hour – $60 -includes one edited digital file per individual
Charges may vary by request.
Images produced and provided to a client should not be shared with other parties. Secondary photo use requests should be made to the APSU Public Relations Office.
