Austin Peay’s public management program is designed to give graduates the managerial and technical skills needed for employment in managerial positions, particularly those in the public or quasi-public sector.  Leading to a bachelor of science degree in public management, the program gives students a solid background in all areas of public management.   Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Management is a degree aimed at giving tomorrow’s business leaders the managerial and technical skills required for a career in a variety of public and private organizations. This degree equips you to manage at all levels of business—local, state and federal government as well as in private industry and non-profit institutions. Our graduates are employed as personnel managers, policy analysts, administrators and similar professions where a solid foundation of management skills is crucial to success and advancement.
