Materials Science Research

Drs. Buckner and Xiong-Skiba make up the Materials Science group here at APSU.  They are primarily interested in thin film research.

Dr. Xiong-Skiba is currently working with NASA on the Constellation-X telescope project.  Constellation X is the next generation of orbital x-ray telescope.  She is working on the manufacture of the telescope's glancing x-ray refraction mirrors.
