Department Conference room to be
named in honor of Mel Mayfield
In honor of the Physics Department's founder and
chair of many years, we will be dedicating the Melburn
R. Mayfield Student Study/Conference Room in the New
Science Building. The dedication will be during the
Physics Department Homecoming in the Fall of 2001.
