As always, all of the APSU Astronomy classes are web-assisted.  Please see the APSU Astronomy page for class information!

New Astronomy Offerings!

Due to its remarkable popularity, the APSU Physics Department is happy to announce newly expanded Astronomy offerings!  A new Astronomy Minor has just been approved!

The department now offers:
    Astronomy 1010:  Planetary Astronomy
    Astronomy 1020:  Stellar Astronomy
    Astronomy 3005:  Observational Astronomy
    Astronomy 3010:  History of Astronomy
    Astronomy 3020:  Cosmology
    Astronomy 4000:  Astrophotography

Neither of the 1000-level courses has a prerequisite -- so you can take either one or both (in any order).  And they both satisfy the APSU core science requirement!

In addition to the new courses, we are now offering a variety of ways to take these classes.  See the courses offered under Physics on the APSU Class Schedule.
