The office of Career Services is located in Ellington 217. [In 2003, the office of Career Services relocated to the Morgan University Center, Room 208.]  Two recommended resources available in Career Services are How to Write a Winning Personal Statement (which can be checked out) and the Graduate School Guide (provided free to students).

The services provide by Career Services include:

maintaining a comprehensive web page which is updated periodically at http://www.apsu.edu/careers/, testing information for graduate school requirements,directories and catalogs for graduate schools,computers for student use,resume assistance, andinterviewing assistance.

Tips:

Don’t wait to get started with the graduate school process–get informed early!You will spend money on application and processing fees–there are some possibilities that you may qualify for fee waivers.The APSU Career Fair includes graduate school representatives. It takes place on the first Monday of October each year.
