Summer/Winter Welcome: Every new student is
required to attend Summer/Winter Welcome. During the Welcome program students and parents recieve valuable information about APSU,
financial aid, and achieving academic success. In addition, students will meet with an academic advisor and register for classes.

Freshman Orientation: Students entering
APSU with less than 12 hours of college credit earned at another university must attend Freshman Orientation. During Freshman
Orientation, students hear from a variety of speakers about topics vital to college life. In addition, students attend the first
several APSU 1000 class sessions. |
Transfer
Online Orientation: Students entering APSU with 12 or
more hours of college credit earned at another university
will be invited to complete the Transfer Online Orientation
OR attend and on-campus welcome event; provided APSU has
received and evaluated all transcripts. During the Transfer
Online Orientation or Transfer Welcome Event, students gain
insights into topics important for success at APSU.

| Online Orientation: New students who are
enrolling in only online courses or students transferring from another university who are unable to attend the Transfer Orientation should
participate in the Online Orientation. This orientation provides valuable information about APSU and tools available to assist students
in achieving their academic goals.
Graduate Online Orientation: This Orientation is
designed specifically for newly admitted graduate students and
provides general information about APSU and the College of
Graduate Studies. |
