The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR)

From documentary filmmaking to the study of alcohol addiction in rats, the OUR supports all kinds of creative activity and research! No matter what your major, the OUR can help you pursue resume-enhancing, career-building projects.

How does the OUR support undergraduate research and creative activity?

Identifying projects. We’re committed to connecting students to opportunities to
conduct research and creative activity.

Funding. Full-time undergraduate students can earn awards ranging from
$500 to $3,000.

Proposal assistance. In order to earn funding now – and later –
you need to be able to write a winning proposal. We can assist.

Support as you execute.  If you run into challenges while executing your research or
creative activity, we can help.

Presentation preparation. Our student researchers present their projects during our annual Research and Creative Activity Forum, and many go on to present their work at other conferences. Need help preparing? We’re happy to help.
