Program Overview
The Baccalaureate Nursing Program at
APSU is a four academic year program,
with 1.5 years of general education
and pre-nursing courses, and
five semesters of nursing courses.
Students completing the program will
earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
(B.S.N.) degree, and will be
educationally eligible to write the
National Council Licensure Examination
(NCLEX) for registered nurse (RN)
licensure. The School of Nursing has
consistently produced graduates who
have high NCLEX-RN pass rates, often
well above the state and national
mean.
APSU nursing students enjoy a
reputation of excellence by employing
agencies nationwide. The diverse
student body includes traditional and
non-traditional student, second degree
students, and former military
personnel. |
