Austin Peay State University is proud to offer an online Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree for Registered Nurses. The program is designed for Registered Nurses who have an active, unencumbered license, or new graduates with an AAS or ADN who are eligible for licensure.
By working closely with expert faculty, you can earn a degree that will enhance your ability to provide competent care for patients in a complex and rapidly evolving health care system. BSN educated nurses gain exposure to a wider range of nursing competencies to better assist the ever-changing needs of our diverse populations. The RN to BSN program is flexible and convenient and designed to fit the schedule of a full-time nurse.
The program teaches graduates to:
Registered Nurses enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing RN to BSN Program complete online courses in an asynchronous format available 24 hours a day via D2L BrightSpace, the University’s web-based instructional program. RN to BSN clinical courses are arranged at sites close to the student’s home with appropriately credentialed preceptors. The sites must be approved by the course faculty and there must be a contract in place between the facility and the University.
