CoffeeBRAKES are open houses from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the ANTS Center (MUC 112) featuring guest organizations and departments that can answer questions and help you get involved. Come down to the Center for free coffee and Breakfast treats on the following dates. Food, while supplies last, no registration necessary. For dates and topics go to the CoffeeBRAKE webpage.

The Listen & Learn Lunch is the new name for The Nontraditional Student Luncheons. Check out these exciting guests this Fall. all lunches are 12-1pm. You must register if you want to have lunch. For more information about dates and topics go to the Listen & Learn Lunch webpage

Family Movie Night Family Movie Night March 20, 2015, provides an opportunity for students and their families to spend a fun night on campus that includes dinner and family friendly entertainment. Bring your family and have some pizza and movie treats while you enjoy the movie.  Dinner starts at 6 pm.  See you there!

 

Felix & the ANTS

Have a cup of coffee and get study tips or researh help! This will be a weekly visit from the Library beginning on Wednesday, January 21.  A Librarian will be on hand to answer any research or study questions you have every Wednesday morning from 10:00am to 11:00am.  The A.N.T.S. center will be a great place to get started on that research paper!

Austin Peay State University has long enjoyed the advantages of having a large adult population on our campus and in our classrooms. The terms Adult Learner and Nontraditional Student have specific applications in higher education but they can be confusing, because after all, aren't we all adults? Aren't we all different and college is the place to be unconventional! So, what is a nontraditional student?
