Distance Education Coordinator Tom Moseley announced Wednesday the availability of two week-long training sessions in online instruction, Feb. 5-9 and April 23-27. Interested faculty members should obtain a request for proposal by e-mailing Moseley at firstname.lastname@example.org
, then submit a proposal for Web-based course development.
Interested faculty can get more information online at www.lern.org/TeachingOnline/
But hurry, says Moseley. “Only 27 vacancies remain, and the final list of attenders will be submitted at the end of the term.”
Proposals do NOT have to be approved for faculty members to take the courses. Responses to the RFP are to provide information about the proposed course to the coordinator of Distance Education. Faculty members are strongly encouraged to investigate and attend the training sessions.
