TBR calls meeting to discuss impact of DOG budget and THEC plan

Chancellor Charles Manning of the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) today announced that, by request of TBR members, a special meeting of the board will be held Monday, May 13, at the TBR central office. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m.
The primary agenda items are 1) discussion of the likely impact on TBR campuses if the DOGS budget, or a similar package, is passed by the General Assembly and 2) discussion of the TBR response to the Tennessee Higher Education Commission's recent proposed revisions to the higher education master plan.
The meeting is open to the public and the press as observers.
