Star of soap, stage and screen illuminates upcoming benefit
October 23, 2000
This year's Theatre Scholarship Benefit will feature a one-night-only production of “The Woolgatherer,” starring last year's Acuff Chair of Excellence recipient Kelly Morgan.
Morgan has appeared on stage at the New York Shakespeare Festival, Off-Broadway at the Contemporary American Theatre Festival and the Kennedy Center. He also has been in movies with John Wayne, Charlton Heston and Richard Harris, but most Clarksvillians will recognize him as Sean in “All My Children.”
Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:30. The performance will follow. Tickets can be purchased by those 21 years or older for $35. Monday, October 23, is the last day to purchase tickets for the event. For information, call 648-7378.
