More than 400 students competed in the Clarksville-Montgomery County Science Fair March 29-30 in the APSU armory.
"Science fairs are important in that they promote what science actually is--organized curiosity," said Dr. Ron Robertson, APSU associate professor of chemistry and co-director of the fair.
"In a science project, students can understand the true nature of science and engineering, see the relationship between science and the real world and gain a sense of satisfaction at completing the basic unit of scientific work.
"Our hosting of the fair is just another example of APSU working with local K-12 schools and industry to promote academic achievement."
