PR issues policy reminder: one-week turnaround required for publication proofing and approval
April 29, 2002
As Commencement and the end of the term approach and the need for various publications intensifies, Austin Peay's executive director of public relations and marketing reminds faculty and staff that materials must be received one week in advance of the day they're needed.
"APSU's 'Guide to Printing & Publishing' states on page 5 that 'A minimum of one week is required to approve publications,'" she says.
"Staff in the Office of Public Relations and Marketing try to move publications through the process in less time but, for myriad reasons, it's not always possible," she adds.
"So when planning a publication, please build in adequate time-one week-for approval."
