City Colleges of Chicago, an organization offering courses at Fort Campbell's Education Center, recently signed a contract with TimeTrade Systems Inc. to implement a Web-based scheduling system for its member colleges.
The system will allow students to self-register for exams via the Internet. Before TimeTrade's system was implemented, clerks manually scheduled appointments for more exams.
"Scheduling multiple exams for over 3,000 students at multiple locations with a limited number of PCs was a challenging task," said one CCC spokesperson in a news release. "We knew there had to be a better way."
City Colleges of Chicago is comprised of seven accredited public community colleges that enroll more than 160,000 students in credit, non-credit and adult education programs across the country.
