Weary of watching others sashay across the dance floor? Learn to salsa, rumba, swing and cha-cha. Then catch your breath with the basics of the waltz and foxtrot. The moves are part of ballroom dancing, and they're coming to Clarksville courtesy of the Community School of the Arts.
All classes will be held in the Dunn Center lobby.
Have two left feet, you say? Don't worry, says Deidre Repass, coordinator of the Community School of the Arts. "We can teach one of them to be right!"
The class is open to singles and couples and will be taught by Phil Dorroll and his wife, Louise Seawright, owners of Dance Connection, a ballroom dance studio in Nashville. The cost is $50 per person or $90 per couple.
Dates and times are as follows: Session I: Tuesdays, Jan. 15 - Feb. 19, 7-9 p.m. and Session II: Mondays, March 18 - April 22, 7-9 p.m.
