One small step, One giant leap.

On Oct. 30, officials at APSU announced that, contingent on the approval of the TBR and THEC, the University will offer a new bachelor's degree next fall that meshes well with three existing needs-all associated with Web offerings.
The proposed bachelor of professional studies degree with a major in technical management and administration would:
*Meet APSU's component of the Army University Access online;
*Complement the Regents Degree in general studies; and
*Offer people with associate degrees the opportunity to apply those credits toward a bachelor's degree.
Dr. Linda Rudolph, interim vice president for academic affairs, said, "This new degree not only will meet our needs for the Army Online Degree and the Regents Degree, it also will enhance our capability to serve both Army and civilian students.
After approval by the Academic Council, the proposed degree was sent to TBR and THEC for review. If it is approved by both, it will be offered initially at the APSU Center@ Fort Campbell next fall. Plans call for APSU to have the degree online by Fall 2003.
