TUESDAY IS ELECTION DAY – GO VOTE!

A lot is at stake at the 2018 midterm election. Tennessee is voting for a new governor and senator, and Clarksville will pick who will be mayor. Important votes are on the ballot in Montgomery and surrounding counties.

VALERY JUNG ESTABROOK PUBLIC LECTURE

“Valery Jung Estabrook: Three American Bodies” is free and open to the public through Dec. 5 at The New Gallery, and she’ll give a public lecture 6 p.m. Nov. 5 at Heydel Hall in the Art + Design Building. There’ll be a reception and gallery talk noon-1 p.m. Nov. 6.

MOLIÈRE LIVES! AND HE’S COMING TO CAMPUS

Not only is Molière still alive, but, in “Molière Than Thou,” coming to Austin Peay State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance at 6 p.m. Nov. 6, he speaks English and is every bit as insightful, ribald, irreverent and enthusiastic as the first time around.

GOVERNORS MEN, WOMEN START HOOPS SEASON

The Austin men’s team starts its season at home 7 p.m. Tuesday against Oakland City and follows up 6:30 p.m. Friday at Mississippi State.  The women’s team visits Cincinnati 7 p.m. Tuesday and hosts Christian Brothers at 7 p.m. Friday.
 The men's home opener is 7 p.m. Tuesday. The women's is 7 p.m. Friday.
