New book tackles tough questions of online teaching

Who decides what software will be used to create distance education classes? What happens to those courses once they've been created? Should faculty members be compensated for teaching online? A new book, "Lessons from the Cyberspace Classroom: The Realities of Online Teaching," attempts to answer those questions. Authors Rena M. Palloff and Keith Pratt are online teaching veterans who now own a distance-education consulting group.
